Rollerskate Plates

Standard rollerskates, also called quad skates, feature a plate that includes an axle, single- or double-action trucks, and sometimes toe stops. Plates can be made from cast aluminum, aircraft-grade aluminum, nylon, or plastic. Trucks may be 45-degree single-action, 15-degree double-action, or 15-degree micro-adjustable. Higher-end skates often include an additional metal piece or jump bar to increase the skate’s strength and durability.
